My journey is backed by an AAS in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design and a BA in Communications with a Math minor from Augsburg College. My experience spans renowned brands like Target, Claire’s, Liz Claiborne, Chico’s, and more – brands that reflect my dedication to innovation and growth.

🔹 Professional Journey

With a foundation in trend research, color, and market intelligence cultivated at Liz Claiborne, Inc. in the vibrant heart of New York City, I honed my skills in an exhilarating and competitive environment. My journey began amidst M&A research, color design, and supporting visionary Merchants and Designers. I had the privilege of working in the iconic Times Square and spending a year under the tutelage of Tim Gunn, using historically significant clothing pieces deaccessioned from The Met to learn and create.

Moving forward to Chico’s, I fortified my conceptual design, print skills, and love of accessories while crafting concept designs for the PD&D teams. This phase also introduced me to the marketing aspect of the business, as we initiated the company's marketing mailer, establishing a foundation for seasonally appropriate key items and themes in the catalog.

Claire’s beckoned me to Illinois, broadening my skill set to encompass a deep understanding of product design, and development. While collaborating with Asian counterparts and factory partners,  I learned the art of delivering quality products at competitive prices.

Transitioning to the wholesale realm, I joined Darice, a newly acquired venture by Michaels. My team and I were instrumental in the integration process, crafting global product menus that included coveted licenses like Disney and Beanie Boos.

Returning to my Minnesota roots, I embraced a dynamic role at Made For Retail, a fast-paced and trend-setting partner for major retailers such as Target. Throughout my growth at Made For Retail, I channeled my passion to drive growth by meticulously orchestrating strategic directions and curating vibrant product categories for the Target business. Guiding high-performing teams, I perfected the art of product shaping and brand strategy crafting.
